About the area
Bindu (Indo-Bhutan Border):
It is a small village is at an altitude of 600m and about 2000 feet, India-Bhutan border. Bindu is famous for its cardamom plantation. This destination is getting popular for offbeat tourist destination of Dooars North Bengal.
Rachela Trekking
Rachela Pass is the trade route between India (Sikkim) and Bhutan located at an elevation of 3152 meters. This scenic beauty of a pass is an oft visited tourist attraction and experiences footfall round the year.
Dalgaon View Point
Dalgaon View Point is a 2-hr walk from Gairibas, which in turn is a 4-km drive from Jaldhaka village. The view all along the way is spectacular. The lush green hills of Bhutan are stretched across the horizon; in the plains below flows the Dechu from Bhutan that becomes the Jaldhaka at Bindu, where it enters India. Birds flock to these hills in winter. A picnic basket, a bird book, sunscreen lotion and a warm jacket would give you a perfect day here.
